About The Position

The Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) Apprentice - Rehab position at UofL Health – Frazier Rehabilitation Institute involves assisting nursing staff with patients’ personal care, emotional support, and activities of daily living. More complex duties are performed under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel. UofL Health – Frazier Rehabilitation Institute is dedicated to being the best rehab system in America, utilizing a state-of-the-art facility and providing expert care in various rehabilitation programs such as brain injury, movement disorders, pediatrics, spinal cord medicine, and stroke recovery. In partnership with the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation, Frazier leads the NeuroRecovery network, incorporating activity-based therapy and locomotor training.

Requirements

  • Completion of course for nursing assistants
  • Current state certification as a Nursing Assistant
  • CPR/BCLS certification

Nice To Haves

  • Six months of experience in an acute or long-term facility preferred
