About The Position
Montessori Certified Guides have been uniquely trained to deliver an authentic Montessori experience, encouraging children to be innovative and independent. As a Montessori Certified Guide you are an expert in sharing an authentic Montessori experience, implementing the Montessori curriculum and facilitating engaging interactive learning experiences. You will also follow all licensing guidelines, school, and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child. You will develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families. You will also complete ongoing professional development on Montessori pedagogy and early childhood development topics.
Requirements
- Credentials as a Montessori educator from an accredited training program (MACTE preferred).
- Experience in a licensed child care center, Montessori school or related field.
- Met state requirements for education; additional school requirements may apply.
- At least 18 years old.
Nice To Haves
- Previous lead teacher experience preferred.
