About The Position
Montessori Certified Guides have been uniquely trained to deliver an authentic Montessori experience, encouraging children to be innovative and independent. Leading a classroom takes a special kind of skill.
Requirements
- Credentials as a Montessori educator from an accredited training program (MACTE preferred).
- Experience in a licensed child care center, Montessori school or related field.
- Met state requirements for education; additional school requirements may apply.
- At least 18 years old.
Nice To Haves
- Previous lead teacher experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Implement the Montessori curriculum and facilitate engaging interactive learning experiences.
- Follow all licensing guidelines, school, and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
- Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families.
- Complete ongoing professional development on Montessori pedagogy and early childhood development topics.
