About The Position

Interfor is seeking reliable and collaborative team players to join our Elk Lake, Ontario Division as a Red Seal Certified Millwright. At Interfor, you will work in a sawmill environment where safety, reliability and teamwork are central to daily operations.

Requirements

• Red Seal certification.
• Strong safety background.
• Contribute positively to a team environment.
• Able to communicate effectively with your team and other departments.
• Take personal responsibility for completing quality work on time.

Responsibilities

• Work in a safe and efficient manner while following all safety rules and regulations.
• Preventive maintenance, repair and breakdown maintenance of sawmill, planer and kiln hot oil system equipment.
• Fabricate, construct and install equipment and machinery with the use of blueprints and diagrams.
• Solve problems and work as part of a team focused on machine reliability and breakdown prevention.
• Be available to work day, afternoon, graveyard or weekend shifts as required.
