Requirements

  • Licensed Certified Medication Aide (CMA)
  • Comply with all state licensing and certification requirements
  • Every-other weekend required

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications to residents in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and state regulations
  • Accurately document medication administration and report any errors, refusals, or adverse reactions immediately
  • Monitor residents for side effects, changes in condition, and medication effectiveness
  • Provide direct care support to residents, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
  • Maintain accurate medication records and ensure proper storage and handling of medications
  • Follow all safety, infection control, and HIPAA guidelines
  • Communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, residents, and families regarding resident care
  • Support the interdisciplinary care team in delivering high‑quality, resident-centered care
  • Comply with all state licensing and certification requirements
