Requirements

Part-Time, PRN
Schedule: 2:30p-11p
Every-other weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday)
Active Certified Medicine Aide License w/ Maryland Board of Nursing
Ability to safely lift, push, and pull up to 25–50 pounds as part of daily job responsibilities, with or without reasonable accomodation.

Responsibilities

Administer prescribed medications accurately and timely according to physician orders and facility policies.
Observe residents for medication effectiveness, side effects, and changes in condition, reporting concerns to the nursing team.
Document medication administration and resident information accurately and completely.
Assist residents with activities of daily living as permitted by certification and facility guidelines.
Maintain medication carts, storage areas, and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Monitor medication supplies and report inventory needs to nursing leadership.
Follow infection control, safety, and quality assurance standards at all times.
Respond promptly and professionally to resident needs and requests.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team.
Support a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
