About The Position
Centurion is seeking a per diem (PRN) Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to join their team at Chillicothe Correctional Center in Chillicothe, Missouri. The CMT, under the direction of the facility Director of Nursing/nursing designee, will administer medications as prescribed, document administration, and report any adverse actions or side effects.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Must maintain active status on the Missouri State Certified Medication Technician (CMT) Registry (mo.tmutest.com).
- Insulin Certification required.
- Completion of an approved Certified Nurse Assistant program and maintenance of active status as a Certified Nurse Assistant (mo.tmutest.com).
- Must be actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.
Nice To Haves
- One (1) year of experience in acute care, emergency, or correctional setting preferred.
Responsibilities
