About The Position
Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking Certified Medication Technicians (CMTs) for weekend Baylor and PRN positions at Highland Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. This role involves administering daily medication to residents, monitoring their condition, reporting changes, and accurately recording medication administration, all while adhering to state and federal regulations.
Requirements
- A fire and passion for working with seniors
- A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
- Must have active, and in good standing, Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification in the state of practice
- Professional image in both appearance and behavior
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience as a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting
Responsibilities
- Administering daily medication to residents in accordance with accepted standards of practice, state and federal regulations and licensing requirements.
- Monitoring residents.
- Reporting changes in resident condition.
- Collecting and recording medication administration.
