About The Position
Centurion is seeking a part-time Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to join their team at the Mountain View Transformation Center in Kuna, Idaho. The CMT will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse or other medical staff, administering medications, documenting dosages and times, taking vital signs, assisting with examinations and treatments, and aiding patients with daily living activities. The role requires monitoring patients and reporting any changes in their condition.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Medical Aide certification (or ability to obtain) with approval for medication administration required.
- Must maintain current tuberculosis documentation.
- Must maintain active CPR/AED certification.
- Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.
Nice To Haves
- One Year experience in acute care, emergency or correctional setting preferred.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications following written and/or oral instructions.
- Document drug dosages and times of administration.
- Take vital signs.
- Assist in examinations and treatments.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living.
- Monitor patients and report changes in their conditions.
