Avenues Recovery Center is a nationwide network of drug and alcohol rehab centers with 18 locations across 7 states, offering high standards of medical and clinical treatment across all levels of care, including detox, residential, PHP IOP, and outpatient services. The centers are JCAHO and CARF accredited and comply with ASAM standards. The company seeks compassionate professionals for stimulating and meaningful work. The specific facility, Avenues Recovery Center at Eastern Shore, is a 100-bed residential facility providing inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation services. It features a newly renovated, modern, and appealing building with an array of amenities, set on 7.74 acres of picturesque and secluded property. The multidisciplinary staff includes therapists, clinicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, addictions counselors, and behavioral health technicians trained in key therapeutic modalities, providing compassionate and dignified care.

Requirements

• CPR certification is required
• Valid licensure to serve as a Medication Technician in MD
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Collaborative, multitasking, and time-management skills
• Knowledge of substance use and its bio-psychosocial consequences

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide quality, timely medical care to stabilize clients and enable them to engage fully in treatment
• Assist with all nursing shift duties (vitals, drug screens, medication management, charting and reporting etc.)
• Collaborate with extended medical and clinical teams for seamless coordination of care
• Manage, order and res-stock all medical supplies as necessary
• Schedule medical appointments and arrange aftercare providers for post-discharge
• Assist with all pharmacy needs and prescription authorizations
