About The Position

Priority Management is seeking a Certified Medication Aide to support resident care at Ridgecrest Retirement and Healthcare Community in Waco, Texas. The role is part of a care team committed to providing compassionate, excellent care to patients and residents. The position is listed as full-time, with any shift. Responsibilities include administering medications according to specified procedures, monitoring residents’ responses, recording vital signs and intake and output as directed, and responding to resident needs. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Have a current, valid CNA certification in good standing.
• Have a current Medication Aide certification in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Verify the identity of residents receiving medication and record the drug name, dosage, and administration time on specified forms or records.
• Present medication to residents and observe ingestion or other application, or administer medication using specified procedures.
• Take vital signs or observe residents for responses to specified medications; prepare a report or notify designated personnel of unexpected reactions.
• Take and record temperatures, blood pressure, pulse, respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output as directed.
• Answer signal lights, bells, or the intercom system to determine resident needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
