About The Position
Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking dedicated and compassionate Certified Medication Aides (CMAs) to join their team. This role involves administering daily medication to residents, monitoring their condition, reporting changes, and accurately recording medication administration, all while adhering to accepted standards of practice and state and federal regulations. The position offers a set schedule of working every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 6 am to 6 pm.
Requirements
- A fire and passion for working with seniors.
- A flexible, fun, and energetic personality.
- Must have active, and in good standing, Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification in the state of practice.
- Professional image in both appearance and behavior.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience as a Certified Medication Aide | CMA in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting preferred.
Responsibilities
- Administering daily medication to residents in accordance with accepted standards of practice, state and federal regulations, and licensing requirements.
- Monitoring residents' conditions.
- Reporting changes in residents' conditions.
- Collecting and recording medication administration.
