About The Position
VitalCore Health Strategies (VCHS), an industry leader in Correctional Health Care, has openings for Full-Time Day Shift Certified Medication Aides (CMA) at New Century Adult Detention Center in New Century, Kansas. This role involves delivering quality care consistent with the scope of practice outlined by the local state, assuming responsibility and accountability for care delivered during work hours, and ensuring a safe environment for staff and patients. Requirements
- Must possess a current and valid CMA certificate.
- Experience in Correctional or behavioral desired but not required.
Responsibilities
- Delivers quality care consistent within the scope of practice as outlined by the local state.
- Assumes responsibility and accountability for the quality of care delivered during work hours.
- Works to ensure a safe environment for themselves, the patient and other staff members.
- Works in accordance with local practice acts and regulations.
- Functions to other competent nursing personnel appropriate to their scope of practice.
