About The Position
Roanoke Rehabilitation & HealthCare Center is hiring a Certified Medication Aide to support rehabilitation and healthcare needs in long-term and short-term care. The role involves delivering routine daily medications to residents and assisting with patient care and medications. The aide follows written or verbal medication-management instructions and records medication dosages and administration times. The position is located at the center in Roanoke, Alabama.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be a Certified Medication Aide licensed by the State of Alabama.
- Must be MAC certified.
- Must have a positive attitude toward the elderly.
Responsibilities
- Deliver routine daily medications to residents.
- Assist with patient care and medications.
- Follow written or verbal instructions for managing medications.
- Record medication dosages and administration times.
- Maintain resident confidentiality and treat residents with kindness, dignity, and respect.
