About The Position

Derby Assisted Living is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our team on 2nd Shift. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents while working in a supportive and rewarding environment. As a CMA, you will administer medications as prescribed and according to facility policies and state regulations, monitor residents for medication effectiveness and adverse reactions, and accurately document medication administration and resident observations. You will also assist residents with activities of daily living as needed, communicate effectively with residents, families, nurses, and other team members, provide compassionate, resident-centered care that promotes dignity and independence, and maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents.

Requirements

Current CMA certification in good standing.
Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Compassionate attitude and commitment to providing exceptional resident care.

Nice To Haves

Previous long-term care or assisted living experience preferred but not required.
