About The Position
Join the TK Health Clinics team and provide patient care where the need is highest. We are seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our healthcare team at the Kaufman County Jail in Kaufman, Texas. TK Health is a correctional healthcare provider serving jails and detention centers across multiple states. Our medical staff have the opportunity to utilize their skills to their fullest capacity while working in a safe, secure, and unique healthcare environment.
Requirements
- Valid Texas Medication Aide Certification
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to successfully pass a background check
Responsibilities
- Administer medications to patients according to established procedures
- Maintain accurate medication administration records
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Assist the healthcare team with patient care as appropriate
- Follow facility and clinical policies and procedures
- Maintain confidentiality and professional standards
