About The Position

Larksfield Place Retirement Communities is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) for the Third Shift in Assisted Living. This role is part-time and focuses on ensuring the comfort and safety of residents during overnight hours. The ideal candidate is calm, reliable, and possesses strong attention to detail for medication administration and resident care. Requirements

• Must hold a current Certified Medication Aide (CMA) and Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification in the state of Kansas
• Valid CPR certification required
• Strong attention to detail, especially with overnight medication administration
• Ability to work independently and remain alert during third shift hours
• Excellent communication, documentation, and time management skills
• Compassionate and professional approach to resident care

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in assisted living, long-term care, or a healthcare setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with overnight care needs and daily living activities, including dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Set up, administer, and document medications accurately under the supervision of a licensed nurse
• Monitor vital signs and observe for changes in condition, promptly reporting to nursing staff
• Maintain a safe, clean, and quiet environment conducive to restful sleep for residents
• Respond to emergency calls and overnight needs with professionalism and compassion
• Support smooth shift transitions through thorough documentation and communication with other shifts
• Foster a respectful and supportive atmosphere for residents and coworkers alike
