About The Position
Priority Management is seeking a Certified Medication Aide for a double-weekend shift at Hilltop Park Rehabilitation and Care Center in Weatherford, Texas. The role supports residents’ care and recovery by administering medications according to specified procedures, monitoring residents, recording vital signs and intake/output, and responding to resident alerts. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Hold a current, valid Texas CNA certification in good standing.
- Hold a current Texas Medication Aide certification in good standing.
Responsibilities
- Verify the identity of residents receiving medication and record the drug name, dosage, and administration time on specified forms or records.
- Present medication to residents and observe ingestion or other application, or administer medication using specified procedures.
- Take vital signs or observe residents for responses to medications, and prepare a report or notify designated personnel about unexpected reactions.
- Take and record temperatures, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output as directed.
- Answer signal lights, bells, or the intercom system to determine residents’ needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
