About The Position
Centurion is seeking a Full-time Certified Medication Aide (Medical) (CMA) to join their team at Lansing Correctional Facility in Lansing, Kansas. The CMA works under the direction of a Registered Nurse and/or other medical staff. They are responsible for administering medications, documenting drug dosages and administration times, taking vital signs, assisting in examinations and treatments, and assisting patients with daily living activities. The CMA must also monitor patients and report any changes in their conditions.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification or ability to obtain one required.
- Must have graduated from a Medication Aide training program and have a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification.
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.
Nice To Haves
- One (1) year of experience in acute care, long-term care, emergency, or correctional environment preferred.
