About The Position
Seeking a full-time medication aide position Mon-Friday 2pm-10pm, Also PRN always needed. This role involves administering prescribed medications to residents/patients, measuring and recording vital signs, observing patients for reactions or side effects, documenting medication administration accurately, and maintaining medication carts and supplies. The position may also require assisting residents with daily living activities and reporting changes in patient condition to nurses or supervisors. Adherence to safety, infection control, and HIPAA procedures is essential, as is ensuring medications are stored properly.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of a state-approved Medication Aide training program
- Current Medication Aide certification/license (requirements vary by state)
- CPR certification may be required
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration
