About The Position
At Marion Assisted Living, our Certified Medication Aides (CMAs) are at the heart of everything we do. We are currently seeking dedicated CMA team members at Marion Assisted Living for multiple shifts (FT/PT/PRN, Day and Night Shifts) who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others. As a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) at Marion Assisted Living, you will provide direct, hands-on care to residents while safely administering medications and promoting dignity, independence, and quality of life. The CMA at Marion Assisted Living plays a vital role in supporting residents’ daily needs and enhancing their overall well-being.
Requirements
- Active Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification in the state
- Strong attention to detail, especially in medication administration
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented mindset
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including day and night shifts
Nice To Haves
- Previous CMA experience preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Administer medications as prescribed in accordance with state regulations and Marion Assisted Living policies
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide mobility assistance, including transfers and ambulation
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ condition to the nursing team
- Support residents with meals, hydration, and dining assistance
- Maintain accurate medication records and documentation
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
- Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and team members
- Follow all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines at Marion Assisted Living
