About The Position
Juniper Communities is seeking a Certified Medication Aide to join their team. This role is crucial in providing physical support to residents, helping them to stay engaged, safe, and independent. The position offers DailyPay, allowing employees to access their earned wages on demand. This is a full-time position for the 11 pm - 7 am shift.
Requirements
- Certified Medication Aide certification in the state of NJ
- Successful completion of an approved medication administration course.
- Successful completion of a nurse aide training course if state regulated.
- Knowledge of the physiology and psychology of the older adult.
- Successful completion of a CPR and First Aid course.
Responsibilities
- Assist with medication administration and documentation for residents in a senior living setting.
- Assist residents as needed with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, hair care, shaving, continence management, securing transportation, making and keeping appointments, use of the telephone, dining, and attending Juniper programs.
- Check and monitor vital signs as instructed.
- Effectively communicate with other members of the team, residents, and families.
- Provide excellent customer service.
