About The Position

We are currently searching for Certified Medication Aides to join our friendly, caring and supportive team. Ask us about our shift differential incentives for additional pay! As a Medication Aide you are the front line of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Guttenberg Care Center by providing our residents with the medications they need, performing Activities of Daily Living, observing changes in condition, ensuring a safe environment, and maintaining education. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• An unencumbered State of Iowa C.N.A. certificate
• Successful completion of State of Iowa approved Medication Aide training
• C.P.R. certification

Nice To Haves

• One (1) year of C.N.A. and Medication Aide experience is preferable
