About The Position
TK Health is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join its healthcare team at the Tulsa County Jail in Tulsa, Oklahoma. TK Health provides healthcare services in jails and detention centers across multiple states. The CMA supports patients and nursing staff under the supervision of a licensed nurse, helping ensure safe medication administration and support of daily healthcare operations in a secure, structured, and professional environment. This is a full-time evening-shift position, scheduled from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. Vaccinations are not required, and new graduates are welcome. All offers of employment are contingent upon successfully completing a background check.
Requirements
- Valid, unrestricted Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification.
- Ability to pass a background check.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.
- Accurately document medication administration and patient responses.
- Observe and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
- Assist with routine patient care as directed by licensed nurses.
- Maintain compliance with policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Support nursing staff with daily clinical operations.
