About The Position

Larksfield Place Retirement Communities is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) for the Second Shift in Assisted Living. This is a part-time role where the individual will ensure the comfort and safety of residents during overnight hours, taking pride in attention to detail and providing quality care. Requirements

• Must hold a current Certified Medication Aide (CMA) and Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification in the state of Kansas
• Valid CPR certification required
• Strong attention to detail, especially with overnight medication administration
• Ability to work independently and remain alert during third shift hours
• Excellent communication, documentation, and time management skills
• Compassionate and professional approach to resident care

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in assisted living, long-term care, or a healthcare setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with overnight care needs and daily living activities, including dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Set up, administer, and document medications accurately under the supervision of a licensed nurse
• Monitor vital signs and observe for changes in condition, promptly reporting to nursing staff
• Maintain a safe, clean, and quiet environment conducive to restful sleep for residents
• Respond to emergency calls and overnight needs with professionalism and compassion
• Support smooth shift transitions through thorough documentation and communication with other shifts
• Foster a respectful and supportive atmosphere for residents and coworkers alike
