About The Position

Rock Creek of Ottawa is hiring a Certified Medication Aide for its Assisted Living team. The role delivers routine medications, coordinates with nurses to support patient care, follows medication-management instructions, records medication dosages and administration times, and responds to patients’ call signals. The aide must perform duties in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations and company standards.

Requirements

• CNA certification is required.
• Medication Aide Certificate (CMA) is required.
• Have a customer-service attitude.
• Handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Deliver routine prescription and non-prescription medications to patients.
• Coordinate with nurses to assist with patient care and medications.
• Follow written or verbal instructions for managing medications.
• Record medication dosages and administration times.
