On-Call Certified Medication Aide (CMA)
About The Position
Hearthstone Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Medford, OR, is looking for dedicated Certified Medication Aides (CMAs) who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others. As part of the Volare Health network, the center prides itself on offering a compassionate and supportive environment for both residents and staff. The role involves administering medications to residents under the supervision of the Charge Nurse, documenting medication administration, tracking effectiveness, and reporting any side effects or concerns, all while ensuring a compassionate, physical, and emotional environment for the residents.
Requirements
- Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
- Must have successfully completed a state-approved Medication Aide Certification (MA-C) program, including classroom and hands-on training.
- Must hold a CMA (Medication Aide) certification in the practicing state (OR).
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to work 1-2 shifts per week.
- Ability to work 2 weekend shifts per month.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Ability to provide compassionate care to residents.
Responsibilities
- Administering medications to residents under the supervision of the Charge Nurse.
- Documenting medication administration.
- Tracking medication effectiveness.
