About The Position
Certified Medication Aide (CMA) needed for Royale Gardens Health & Rehabilitation Center in Grants Pass, OR. This role is part of the Volare Health network and focuses on providing compassionate care to residents. The position involves administering medications, documenting administration, tracking effectiveness, and reporting any side effects or concerns, all while ensuring a supportive environment for residents.
Requirements
- Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and have successfully completed a state-approved Medication Aide Certification (MA-C) program, including classroom and hands-on training.
- Must hold a CMA (Medication Aide) certification in the practicing state (OR).
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to work 1-2 shifts per week, 2 weekend shifts per month (Required).
- Ability to work well in a team, providing compassionate care to residents.
Responsibilities
- Administering medications to residents under the supervision of the Charge Nurse.
- Documenting medication administration.
- Tracking medication effectiveness.
- Reporting any side effects or concerns.
- Ensuring a compassionate, physical, and emotional environment for the residents.
