Certified Medical Laboratory Technician, Clemmons Medical Plaza, Weekdays
About The Position
This role is for a Certified Medical Laboratory Technician at the Clemmons Medical Plaza Laboratory. The technician will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of patient laboratory test results, maintaining the quality of test results through adherence to Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) procedures, and ensuring safety and compliance. The position also requires maintaining appropriate education to accomplish work objectives and current certifications, ensuring productive and efficient operations of the section and department, and adhering to general hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment. The role is full-time, working weekdays with rotating schedules, and does not involve weekend or holiday work.
Requirements
- MLT (ASCP) or equivalent certification required.
- Successful completion of a NAACLS approved Medical Technician program preferred.
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree preferred.
- Previous experience as a Medical Lab Technician preferred.
Responsibilities
- Ensures accuracy and timeliness of patient laboratory test results.
