About The Position
The Certified Medical Coder assigns and sequences ICD-10-CM, CPT AND HCPCS codes to diagnosis and procedures for documented information. Must be knowledgeable of the requirements for rural health clinics, and the electronic health record used by Northern Montana Health Care.
Requirements
- Completion of high school or equivalent.
- Certification as CCA, CCS, CCS-P, CPC or CPC-H is required.
Nice To Haves
- One year of coding experience preferred.
