About The Position

Fast-paced, high-volume clinic looking for a top skilled Certified Medical Assistant. This role is full-time, 40 hours weekly, Monday through Friday, from 8am to 5pm. The department offers growth and development opportunities in a collaborative work environment focused on patient satisfaction. Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)
CMA - Current Medical Assistant Certification (REQUIRED)

Nice To Haves

One year of experience as a Medical Assistant (PREFERRED)
Willing to consider a New CMA that has completed an Externship
Bilingual (Spanish or Vietnamese) (PREFERRED)
ACLS or BCLS upon hire (PREFERRED)

Responsibilities

Delivers care to patients utilizing the Certified Medical Assistant Process
Conducts patient check out, surgery scheduling and post operative calls as primary function of position
Communicates with patient regarding test results and plan of care by phone or mail as directed by physician
Provides for patient safety and protection of patient privacy rights
May work in the front office as needed
May perform other duties as assigned by practice manager, more senior staff, or as requested by healthcare provider(s)
