About The Position

We are hiring a Certified Medical Assistant for our Dermatology department at All Saints Clinic in Racine, WI. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with exact hours to be determined within the 7:30 am to 5:30 pm timeframe. The role involves assisting physicians and nurses with patient care, including examinations and treatments, taking patient medical histories and vital signs, preparing and maintaining treatment rooms, and managing essential clerical tasks.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association OR American Red Cross accepted.
Medical Assistant credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Registered Medical Assistant credentialed from the American Registry of Medical Assistants also accepted.
Medical Assistant credentialed from the American Medical Technologists (AMT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Medical Assistant credentialed from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Medical Assistant credentialed from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Responsibilities

Assist physicians and nurses with patient examinations, treatments, and specialized clinical duties.
Interview patients to record medical history and accurately measure vital signs for charting.
Prepare and sanitize treatment rooms while ensuring all medical supplies are ordered and stocked.
Manage essential clerical tasks, including phone correspondence, record maintenance, and filing.
