About The Position
Physicians’ Primary Care of Southwest Florida is a premier multi-specialty practice with locations in Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Estero and Lehigh Acres. We are currently seeking Certified/Registered Medical Assistant for our Adult Medicine division in Lehigh Acres.
Requirements
- A certification or registration from an accredited program for medical assistants (CMA/RMA)
- Great attention to detail and ability to record information accurately
- Solid attendance record
- Excellent and professional customer service skills
- Knowledge of phlebotomy, patient intake and common medications
- One year of medical assisting experience or combination of medical education and work experience
- CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire
Responsibilities
- Prepare exam and treatment rooms for patient and physician use
- Perform patient intake; vital signs, medical history and medication review
- Assist physicians in the exam room during physicals and procedures
- Record patient chart in management system in a timely and accurate manner
- Maintain the strictest confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations
- This position will require travel between pediatric offices as needed
