About The Position

The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) at Community Medical Center plays a crucial role in supporting healthcare professionals who interface with and provide care to patients and the community. The role involves assisting with patient assessments and treatments, performing diagnostic procedures, managing medical supplies, and maintaining a clean and orderly clinical environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Graduate of Accredited Medical Assistant Program or equivalent required.
Current Montana CCMA, CMA, or RMA certification.
Current American Heart Association BLS certificate or obtained within 60 days after hire date.
Require critical thinking skills, decisive judgement, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Responsibilities

Assists with performing patient assessments and treatments.
Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection.
Monitors and communicates changes in patient condition.
Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
Maintains examination areas.
Assists with keeping patient rooms and common areas stocked, clean, and orderly.
