About The Position

Sentara Martha Jefferson Family Medicine is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant in Charlottesville, VA. This position involves performing patient care and administrative/clerical related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations, and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). The role requires Monday through Friday availability, 40 hours per week, with scheduled shifts falling between 8a and 5p based on provider assignment. Lab draw experience is highly preferred.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
• Active CMA, CCMA, RMA, or NREMT-Basic (Required)
• 1 year of clinical or administrative experience

Nice To Haves

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (Preferred)
• Lab draw experience highly preferred
• Phlebotomy experience (Preferred)
