About The Position
The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) works under the direction of a Medical Provider. The CMA participates in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care, within the objectives, standards, and policies of the department and within the parameters of their preparation. They cooperate with members of the nursing and medical staffs and other hospital departments.
Requirements
- High school diploma required.
- Certified through an accredited MA program.
- Office experience preferred.
- Eligible for screening requirements: Drug Screen, Tuberculosis Test, Background Check, Physical Exam, Respirator Fit, Current flu vaccination.
Responsibilities
- Participates in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care, within the objectives, standards, and policies of the department and within the parameters of his or her preparation.
- Cooperates with the members of the nursing and medical staffs and other hospital departments.
