About The Position

Medcor is seeking a Full-Time Certified Medical Assistant (CMA - Nationally Certified) to deliver high-quality clinical administrative care in an employer-based clinic located in Richland / Hanford, Washington. The clinic provides basic primary and urgent care, in addition to treating workplace injuries. The work schedule is Monday - Thursday, 6AM to 4:30PM, at either the Hanford Clinic or the in-town PONA clinic. This role involves providing excellent clinical care in an AP clinic, assisting in patient care and treatment, and collaborating with Medcor's medical and operational leadership, on-site Providers, RNs, MAs, and key client contacts. The position may occasionally require weekend or on-call hours.

Requirements

Valid licensure for the position in which you are applying
CMA (National Certification)
Valid BLS Certification (AHA or ARC)
Positive and outgoing personality
Willing to go above and beyond to provide excellent customer service

Nice To Haves

Comfortable working in a clinic environment
Minimum of 2 years’ experience
Comfortable and productive working with computers; familiarity with EMR software is a plus
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

Provide superior customer service to clinic patients and Medcor’s client
Schedule appointments, greet patients, manage clinic traffic, and conduct follow up calls
Record keeping, and running reports with state of the art electronic medical software
Inventory and stocking of supplies
Work collaboratively with clinic staff, client staff, local medical providers
