The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) will deliver care to patients utilizing the Certified Medical Assistant Process in a growing OB/GYN practice. This role involves performing general patient care, preparing patients for healthcare providers, obtaining and recording vital signs, administering medications and vaccines, drawing blood samples, performing EKGs, scheduling diagnostic tests, documenting patient care plans, and maintaining instruments and equipment. The CMA will also communicate with patients regarding test results and care plans, escalate issues as needed, ensure safety checklists are completed, and protect patient privacy. This position may also involve front office duties and other assigned tasks. The clinic offers work/life balance hours, is closed on U.S. Holidays, and fosters long-term patient relationships and a community-oriented atmosphere.
