About The Position

Ascension Medical Group Clinic in Westfield, IN is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for their Pediatric Primary Care department. This role operates on a Monday-Friday schedule from 8 am to 4:30 pm. The Medical Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting providers, ensuring efficient clinic operations, and maintaining accurate patient records.

Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Medical Assistant obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Certified or Registered both accepted.
• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient examinations, treatments, and procedures while maintaining sterile and organized treatment rooms.
• Streamline clinic workflow by interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, and accurately recording medical histories in patient charts.
• Transcribe provider orders for labs, imaging, and prescriptions, ensuring all diagnoses and follow-up instructions are documented with high precision.
• Manage essential administrative duties, including medical record maintenance, clerical support, and inventory management to ensure seamless clinic daily operations.
