About The Position

Assists physician and patients as needed which includes but not limited to measuring vital signs, maintaining client records, performing lab tests, administering medications, etc. Our mission is to inspire and empower people to seek and maintain recovery and health. Requirements

Minimum of High School Degree
Obtained certification from the Board of the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)

Nice To Haves

One year related experience and/or training preferred.
Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

Verifies patient information by interviewing patients; reviewing and/or recording medical history; taking vital signs; administering medications
Supports patient care delivery by helping health care providers during examinations; preparing laboratory specimens; performing basic laboratory tests on the premises; disposing of contaminated מלא; administering medications; telephoning prescriptions to pharmacies; drawing blood; administering injections.
Educates patients by providing medication and home care instructions; answering questions.
Completes medical records by recording patient examination, treatment, and test results.
Maintains safe, secure, and healthy patient care environment by adhering to organization standards and policies, and to legal regulations; alerting others regarding potential concerns.
Maintains patient confidence and protects medical office operations by keeping information confidential; cautioning others regarding potential breaches.
All other duties as assigned by supervisor.
