About The Position
Baptist Health is seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant to join their Baptist Primary Care office in South Ponte Vedra, FL. This is a Full-Time opportunity, working Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional back-office support, including rooming patients, assisting providers, obtaining vital signs, and supporting patient care throughout the visit. Women's health experience is strongly preferred. This role offers the chance to work alongside a dedicated provider.
Requirements
- 2+ years Patient Care Experience
- Experience in Physician's office
- High School Diploma/GED Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Certified Medical Assistant Required
Nice To Haves
- Associate of Arts/Science Preferred
- Women's health experience is strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Provides medical assistance to physician
- Obtains vital signs
- Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit
- Maintains medical documentation
- Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician
- Processes prescription requests and referrals
