At Pyramid Healthcare Mountaineer Inpatient, we provide substance use disorder treatment in a supportive, structured environment. As a Certified Medical Assistant, you'll work alongside nursing and clinical staff to support medical services, monitor client health, and help ensure safe, coordinated care.

Requirements

  • Certified Medical Assistant certification through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a commitment to client care

Responsibilities

  • Obtain and document vital signs, blood glucose readings, urine specimens, and other medical information as directed
  • Support medication-assisted treatment (MAT) services and related medical activities
  • Perform toxicology specimen collection, screening, and documentation
  • Report changes in client condition and communicate medical concerns to nursing and clinical staff
  • Assist with admissions paperwork and collection of medical records
  • Observe and document medication dispensing activities as assigned
  • Maintain medical supplies, inventory, and equipment
  • Assist with client education, appointment follow-up, and treatment engagement
  • Maintain accurate records and protect client confidentiality
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to support quality client care
