About The Position

This role is for a Certified Medical Assistant in Primary Care at Ascension Medical Group in Bartlesville, OK. The position is full-time, with day shifts from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The Medical Assistant will deliver personalized patient care by greeting individuals warmly, preparing them for examinations, obtaining accurate vital signs, and assisting providers during clinical treatments. They will also streamline the patient-provider encounter through real-time documentation of symptoms, diagnoses, prescriptions, and order transcriptions to ensure complete, high-quality medical records. Additionally, the role involves optimizing exam room readiness by maintaining immaculate care spaces and ensuring essential clinical supplies are fully stocked and accessible. The Medical Assistant will support seamless clinic operations by handling essential administrative tasks, managing incoming communications, and keeping patient data organized.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Medical Assistant obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Must either be a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or in school currently to obtain your CMA/RMA.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior CMA experience preferred
  • MA Certification and/or Registration in good standing through AAMA, AMT, NCCT, NHA
