About The Position

The Registered (Certified) Medical Assistant, under supervision, is responsible for assistance to the medical provider and nursing staff in the delivery of direct patient care. She/he will prepare patient for and assist medical provider with various medical procedures. She/he will perform various duties as needed to run an efficient and professional office practice. She/he may complete / perform office procedures within the scope of the RMA credentials and will have knowledge relative to the age of the patient they serve.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Current Registered Medical Assistant Certification/CCMA.
  • Sufficient education to communicate in English, both orally and in writing in a professional manner.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Basic Life Support Certification within six (6) months of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with reception/office procedures helpful.
