About The Position

Fast-paced, high-volume clinic looking for a top skilled Certified Medical Assistant. This role is full-time, 40 hours weekly, with work hours Monday-Thursday (7:30 am-5 pm) and Fridays (8 am-12 noon). The clinic offers no weekends, a collaborative work environment, and cross-training for career development and growth. Sign-on bonuses are available for eligible new hires.

Requirements

• High School Diploma (REQUIRED)
• Valid Certification as a Medical Assistant (REQUIRED)
• Successful completion of THPG Clinical Training (CT) educational program with demonstrated competency in required skills - within 90 days of job entry (REQUIRED)
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support Exception Quarterly - 90 days upon hire (REQUIRED)

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience as a CMA (PREFERRED)
• Bilingual - English/Spanish (PREFERRED)

Responsibilities

• Delivers care to patients utilizing the Certified Medical Assistant Process
• Conducts patient check out, surgery scheduling and post operative calls as primary function of position
• Communicates with patient regarding test results and plan of care by phone or mail as directed by physician
• Provides for patient safety and protection of patient privacy rights
• May work in the front office as needed
• May perform other duties as assigned by practice manager, more senior staff, or as requested by healthcare provider(s)
