About The Position

Burnett Medical Center is currently looking for a part-time Clinic CMA or LPN to provide phone nurse support. SHIFT & HOURS : 0.8 FTE (64 hours per pay period); includes occasional evenings and rotating Saturdays

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved vocational/technical school.
• Possesses current CMA certification.
• BLS, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Excellent assessment skills, exceptional communication, and teamwork skills.

Nice To Haves

• Epic experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls, enter and route messages via Epic to appropriate staff.
• Prescription Prior Authorizations, medication refills via EHR and faxes.
• Backup at times to clinical support staff with direct patient care.
• Rotating weekends including rooming patients, entering information into EHR, assisting providers with minor procedures, administering injections, medications and immunizations.
