About The Position
Keystone Pediatrics Waynesboro is seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our growing team. As a fast-paced and expanding Community Health Center, we are committed to improving the health and wellness of our community and are looking for a compassionate, organized professional who thrives in a collaborative environment. In this role, you will support patient care and office operations through a variety of clinical and administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, able to multitask effectively, and comfortable working in a busy healthcare setting.
Requirements
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
Nice To Haves
- Previous medical office or nursing support experience
- Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Responsibilities
- Managing patient phone calls
- Requesting medical records for new patients
- Tracking referrals
- Monitoring laboratory results and diagnoses
- Obtaining medication prior authorizations
- Assisting nursing staff as needed
