This role is ideal for a Medical Assistant who takes pride in accuracy, steady patient flow, and patient-first service - without constant chaos or unclear expectations. This patient-facing clinic role supports primary and urgent care. The schedule is 3x12 shifts (7:45am-8:00pm) with rotating/alternating weekends (8:45am-2:00pm). There are pay add-ons for weekend differential pay and overtime opportunities as needed. The role involves supporting providers and patients end-to-end, keeping care moving efficiently and safely, including clinical intake and documentation in the EMR, assisting with exams and procedures, venipuncture, specimen collection, processing, point-of-care testing, EKGs, administering medications/injections, and supporting discharge instructions. Additionally, the role assists with clinic operations such as open/close responsibilities, check-in/check-out, insurance verification, EMR demographic confirmation, maintaining exam rooms and supplies, scheduling appointments, and supporting the training of new team members.
