About The Position
Baptist Health is currently seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our Baptist Primary Care office located in Fleming Island. This is a Full-Time opportunity. The experienced candidate will perform back-office duties, such as rooming patients and taking vitals.
Requirements
- Over 2 years Patient Care Experience
- Experience in Physician's office
- High School Diploma/GED Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Certified Medical Assistant Required
Nice To Haves
- Associate of Arts/Science Preferred
Responsibilities
- Provides medical assistance to physician
- Obtains vital signs
- Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit
- Maintains medical documentation
- Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician
- Processes prescription requests and referrals
