About The Position

Ascension Medical Group Clinic in Winchester, IN is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for their Primary Care department. This role operates on a Monday-Friday schedule from 8 am to 5 pm. The Certified Medical Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting providers with patient examinations, treatments, and procedures, ensuring sterile and organized treatment rooms. They will also be responsible for streamlining clinic workflow by interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, and accurately recording medical histories. Additionally, the role involves transcribing provider orders for labs, imaging, and prescriptions, and managing administrative duties such as medical record maintenance, clerical support, and inventory management.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Medical Assistant obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Certified or Registered both accepted.
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
